Our Breeding Program

We are interested in building the market for Hanoverians here in the Midwest. We have started our breeding program mixing two well known Hanoverian lines from Kentucky that of Donnerkeil and Guarantor.

Our founding Mare Gabrielle B is out of ES Gurantor and the Elite Hanoverian mare Marone.She was bred in 2002 to Donnerkeil and produced the yearling Delanie. In 2003 foaled Donnerstolz another lovely Donnerkeil offspring. In 2004 she foaled Fabriana B a gorgeous Fabuleauz filly. She was again bred to Fabuleaux for a 2008 foal.

Delanie passed her mare inspection and performance test in 2007 attaining Elite Mare Candidate status. She will stay here at Time Out Farm. In May of 2009 she foaled a beautiful colt, Deanardo to fulfill her requirements to obtain full elite mare status with the American Hanoverian Society. Delanie won her yearling filly class in the July 17,2004 USDF/Cosequin Championship Qualifier at White Fox Manor in Kansas. For more information on Delanie please see below.

Delanie is out of Gabrielle B (Guarantor x Marone) and was sired by ES Donnerkeil. She was foaled May 3, 2003. She has beautiful movement and an excellent temperment. She was imprinted at birth and handled daily. She joins her mother Gabrielle as Time Out Farm's latest broodmare.

ES Donnerkeil is a 16.3 hand Elite Hanoverian stallion of the distinguished Duellant & Der Löwe performance lines. Champion in Dressage and Eventing as a competitor, and now a proven sire of champions.
Offspring are winning in Dressage, 3-Day Eventing and Grand Prix Show Jumping. He is a consistent producer of elegant, uphill, athletic foals with elastic gaits and incredible dispositions from both Warmblood and Thoroughbred mares.

ES Donnerkeil is a unique combination of the athletic Hanoverian lines Duft II and Der Löwe. His grandsire is Dürkheim, whose offspring are very successful dressage horses both in Europe and in the US. His sire Diamont is the number one Hanoverian sire of USDF qualifiers in the US. Donnerkeil is only fully licensed Elite Hanoverian son of Diamont's.

The 'L' line is from Der Löwe through Donnerkeil's granddam, and this line is well know for producing very athletic dressage and eventing horses

ES Guarantor is a 16.2 Elite Hanoverian stallion of the Legendary Grande & Absatz bloodlines. 100 Day tested at Warendorf, he placed 4th out of 128, and received 9's for character. Judge's comments included; "Elegant and powerful, with clean strong conformation. Extravagant movement with rhythm and elasticity. Especially talented in dressage with a lot of ability over the jump. He transmits his movement to his progeny as well as his noble character."

In the US his winnings include; Devon Stallion Champion in hand and under saddle, Dressage At Devon Reserve Grand Champion, USDF Horse of the Year second and third levels, and a successful FEI competitor through Prix St. George. He is now producing many upper level USDF award winning offspring.

ES Guarantor is of the the extraordinary Hanoverian G-line which has produced a world of top class dressage performers. Famous horses such as Gifted, Weydon, Gigolo, Grunox and Graf George along with Guarantor share the common grand sire Grande. Grande is one of the leading ranked sires of dressage horses by the World Breeding Federations of Sport Horses
